Bennett Girls Basketball Takes Out North Dorchester

The James M. Bennett Clippers girls basketball team pulled away in the fourth quarter to beat North Dorchester 64-41 Friday night in Hurlock.

The Clippers used a 30-point fourth quarter to walk away with a blowout win, in a game that was close for the first 24 minutes. Bennett and North Dorchester were tied at 9 after one, and the Eagles only trailed 18-14 at the break.

In the second half, Bennett would push their lead to seven (34-27) by the end of the third quarter. In the fourth, Bennett would run away, getting 30 points by a combined 7 players, including 9 from Monay Watson, who finished with a team-high 15 points. For North Dorchester, Davincia Hudson had a game-high 17.
