WiHi Boys Basketball Holds Off Crisfield

The Wicomico boys basketball team kept their perfect season alive Tuesday when they gutted out a 86-67 win in a game that felt much closer than the final score. The win improves the Indians to 4-0 while the loss drops the Crabbers to 1-3.

The Indians would play solid defense to start and score when the opportunity presented itself. While Crisfield would have their struggles in the half court, their full court pressure defensively would lead to several steals and easy baskets to keep them close. Headed to the 4th, the Crabbers would find themselves down 8 points and right in the game before Torrey Brittingham would take over. The guard would come up with two critical steals and 2 assists down the stretch to help WiHi push their lead out of reach for Crisfield.

The Indians return to action Thursday when they travel to play at Pocomoke while Crisfield is back on the road Friday to play at Bennett.
