UPDATE: Teen involved in Lincoln kidnapping sentenced

A Milford teenager, charged with kidnapping an elderly Lincoln woman last year, has been sentenced.
Seventeen-year-old Jackeline Perez pleaded guilty to first-degree carjacking, first-degree kidnapping, and second degree conspiracy to commit a felony back in September.
On Friday, she was sentenced to 16 years in jail. Same sentence as co-conspirator 15-year-old Junia McDonald.
Last March, Perez and McDonald were arrested after police say they forced then 89-year-old Margaret Smith into the trunk of her own car and kept her there for two days after she accepted their requests for a ride.
During that time period, the girls’ picked up Rondaiges Harper and Phillip Brewer, who proceeded to ride in the car with Smith knowingly in the trunk.
McDonald, Harper, and Brewer were also convicted for the incident earlier this year. Harper was sentenced to 30 years in prison in July, while Brewer is set to be sentenced on December 19th.
