UPDATE: Suspect arrested for 2 Smyrna burglaries

Police say they have made an arrest in a burglary investigation, after releasing surveillance photos of the suspect.

Delaware State Police say on Monday, they received a tip, recognizing the suspect seen in surveillance photo, while burglarizing a home on Cedar Court in the Holly Hill Estates Development. At that same time, Police say they received another call reporting a burglary in progress, on Cedar court.

Once on scene, Troopers reportedly found 29-year-old Joshua Masten, who was then arrested. Police say they were able to link Masten to both incidents, and found that he had broken into the same home four times since early October. In that time he had reportedly taken a laptop computer, a guitar, and cash.

Masten was charged with four counts of burglary 2nd degree, one count of attempted burglary, four counts of theft, one count of attempted theft, and three counts of criminal mischief. He was later released on $26,500 bond.

Police say they are not looking for any other suspects in connection the this case.
