UPDATE: Scarborough sentencing pushed back

Jocori Scarborough’s sentence for raping a 15-year-old during school hours, will not happen until next week, at the earliest.

The 18-year-old Delmar teen was supposed to be sentenced on Thursday, but his attorney filed a motion to postpone the sentencing until at least next Wednesday.

He argued that he just received the five-page pre-sentence investigation, and it is only fair for him to have time to review it with Scarborough. Because the state did not oppose, the motion was granted. S

carborough was found guilty of all counts back in October, including second degree rape. He could face 20 years in jail.
