UPDATE: One arrested in Salisbury armed robbery

Police say they have made an arrest in the armed robbery of a Salisbury market that happened earlier this month.

Salisbury Police say on December 11th, Detectives arrested 32-year-old Tay Labryant Johnson, Sr., of Salisbury, in connection to the December 3rd armed robbery of the Shoppers One Stop Market, on Delaware Avenue.

According to the report, Johnson approached the counter of the store with a handgun in his waistband, and demanded cash from the employee. He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

After his arrest, Johnson was charged with armed robbery, robbery, theft less than $1,000, and handgun on person. He is now being held at the Wicomico County Detention Center.
