UPDATE: Female Victim Dead After Kiowa Ave. Shooting

Authorities from Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office say the female victim of a Christmas Day shooting has succumbed to her injuries, with the alleged shooter expected to face further charges.
Police have not released the identity of the victim; however, we’re told the shooting happened around 3:45 p.m. on Thursday on the 1200-block of Kiowa Avenue. According to authorities, the female victim was transported to Peninsula Regional Medical Center after suffering a gunshot to the head before passing away on Friday.
After interviewing witnesses to the incidents, investigators say they identified Jack Braboy, 24, as the alleged shooter. Deputies and Maryland State Police troopers searched the area for Braboy and were able to apprehend him in the area of Delaware Avenue a short time later.
Authorities say Braboy was released to the Wicomico County Detention Center.
He is currently facing charges of Attempted Murder and 1st Degree Assault. Police say additional charges are expected, though they did not confirm exactly what those charges are.
