UPDATE: Bicyclist dies after Ellendale crash

A bicyclist who was reportedly hit by a car on Friday, has succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash.

Delaware State Police say 64-year-old Collin Worth died on Tuesday, after being hit by a Chevrolet Cavalier on December 19th, on Hummingbird Road in Ellendale.

Police say Worth, who was not wearing a helmet, suffered a traumatic head injury in the crash, and was air-lifted from the scene to Christiana Medical Center, where he later died.

The Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit says they are continuing to investigate the crash, but no charges have been filed at this time.
