UPDATE: Authorities in Somerset Co. found escaped inmate

According to the Somerset County Sheriff’s office, the hunt is over for escaped inmate William Conley.

At about 1 AM Thursday morning officials say they located Conley and they county vehicle he used to escape in the area of Centerville, Maryland. Conley was reportedly transported back to Somerset County, where he will be temporarily held at the Somerset County Detention Center.

Conley was serving time for 2nd degree assault when he left his work detail at the landfill on Tuesday.
