U.S. Army Specialist welcomed home in Salisbury

Monday night family and friends gathered at the Salisbury Airport to welcome a soldier home. U.S. Army Specialist Ryan Legar of the 201 Battlefield Surveillance Bridgade landed around 9PM. Joining family and friends were other Veterans and members of the group Operation We Care.

“I didn’t want to cry, but I’m pretty sure I started crying there for a minute, says SPC Legar. “It’s good to have family and friends around. I’m real excited to be back.”

The Salisbury native just completed his second tour in two years. From everyone at 47 ABC, we say “thank you.”
