Teachers Who Make A Difference: November

47 A-B-C and Accurate Optical’s “Teachers Who Makes A Difference” award is back!
We surprised one very special local teacher on Thursday.

Our news crew caught up with November’s winner Kelly Kaiser and her 5th grade classroom. Ms. Kaiser has been teaching at Westside Intermediate for 16 years.
Overwhelmed by her nomination, she tells 47 ABC the job itself is the real reward.

“It is one of the most rewarding jobs there are, I do believe…but my favorite part is when my students actually enjoy somewhere we’re doing here and I feel like it transfers over and I see that love of learning.” Says Kaiser.
