Suspect arrested in Princess Anne bank robbery

Authorities in Princess Anne have named a suspect in a bank robbery earlier this month.

According to Princess Anne PD, Bradford Tilghman was arrested Thursday morning and now faces armed robbery and other related charges.

This arrest stems from an armed robbery at the BB&T Bank near Mount Vernon Road in Princess Anne. Police say Tilghman walked in with a box and placed it near the entrance. He reportedly approached the teller, demanded money, and left with an undisclosed amount, saying the box had a bomb in it.

Police investigated the box after the suspect left and found it to be harmless.
