about that, and we had a bunch of games going on up and down delmarva tonight, but there was one matchup that everybody had their eye . the game of the night though was being played right here in salisbury, where parkside was looking to stake their claim as the conferences best team when they took on washington. pick things up here in the second half… rams on the run after a steal with dajour diggs throws it up for colen gaynor, and he slammed it home! the jags were down by double digits but their full court press got them back into this thing. shakur cottman forces the turnover and finishes the lefty lay in on the other end. then it was montraz oliver comes up with the steal, and he would finish on the other end.. they got it down to a single point, but then the rams figures the press out. juwane williams finds gaynor and he hammers another one home with under a minute to play. and then gaynor provides the exclamation mark. diggs off the backboard and gaynor cocks it back and jams it home! one more look at it.. brings it all the way back before sending it home with two hands! parkside wins a shootout, 100-90. and wi-hi was hosting stephen decatur. seahawks jaron johnson can’t connect from long range but keyon eley is there for the rebound and put back.. he finished with 18 points on the night. couple possessions later the indians were playing a little defense… lionel batson comes up with the block and that leads to a torrey brittingham lay in on the other end. decatur still pressing… kevin land goes coast to coast here for the score. but wi-hi would end up putting this thing away though… nelson brown with a strong take down low… finishes for the basket plus the foul. indians go on to take this one, 80-58 and easton was at home taking on kent county.. this ended up being a good one. manuel camper playing a little defense here, comes up with the steal and converts in for 2 on the other end. back come the warriors… ryan hall pulls and he would knock down the jumper… but kent would have a 14-10 lead after the first. second quarter and nice ball movement finds jack wheatly spotting up and he drills it.. and easton was right in this thing. but the trojans would make the plays down the stretch.. marquan green gets the steal, takes it the other way for the duece. kent county gets a nice road win, 56-53 the final and of course those were just a few of our games tonight. lets take a look at some of the other scores. north caroline gets their first win of the year taking down snow hill 74-51. colonel richardson gets another nice win.. they beat saint michaels 68-25. and how about cambridge.. they pull out a 43-42 over time win on the road at kent island. and queen anne’s improves to 2-1 with a 75-53 win against north dorchester. and rounding out out maryland teams… pocomoke improves to 3-0 with a 83-25 win at mardela. two games in delaware for us tonight. cape gets a nice road win over milford 49-45… and sussex central falls at home to smyrna 69-38. and there was a few girls basketball games going on tonight, including a big one in mardela where the warriors were hosting pocomoke. mardela grabbed the early lead, but pocomoke was hanging tough… dynaisha christian down low with a strong move and finish.. just before the end of the first though, ddemyra selby comes up with the steal, takes it coast to coast for the and 1 finish… mardela took a 19-17 lead after 1. 2nd quarter now and mardela goes on a run sparked by 5 straight points from taylor ross, including that long ball from the wing. pocomoke trying to hang in there… deshonda dennis squares up and knocks down the triple try to make it a 1 point game. but selby took over in the second half. gets the steal here and finishes othe other end for 2 of her 33 points on the night mardela takes it, 73-54 and cambridge south dorchester was hosting kent island. buc’s hannah morgan gets open here in teh second half and he drills the 3 pointer to give her team a nice lead. then kent island was turning up the defense… steal here would lead to a se’ri miles easy lay up. but the vikings hung around for a little bit in this one…. good passing here as the ball eventually finds jahzana butler down low, and she puts it in. she wasn’t done yet… a couple possesions later she went right back to work, and gets another one to drop. the bucs come back though as maya robinson knocks down the j.. kent island takes it, 51-21 the final. that’s it for sports. good news is just ahead- keep it right here — you’re watching 47 abc!
