Seaford notches their second win over North Caroline

The Seaford Blue Jays played against the North Caroline Bulldogs in their first match up for the Governor’s Challenge and won their second game of the season. This was a different Seaford team than I had watched just last week and they showed a lot of improvement.

The Bulldogs started the game off strong and led the Blue Jays, but Seaford was not ready to go down that easily. After being down over ten points, the Blue Jays changed the tempo and found a rhythm. Rahim Smith played a large role in the comeback win with his 28 points. He was all over the court – getting rebounds and putting the ball up for a bucket helping his team win the game.

With the win, Seaford advances on to play Nandua who won over Crisfield earlier today. This should be a good match up and if Rahim Smith can play as well as he did today – they may be looking at their third win of the season.
