Salisbury Police investigating armed bank robbery

Salisbury Police say they are currently on the scene of an armed bank robbery at the Hebron Savings Bank on Riverside Drive in Salisbury.

Police say they are currently searching for a suspect last seen wearing a mask, and a dark colored hooded sweatshirt.

The incident reportedly happened just after 9:00 AM. The suspect reportedly fled with suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

School officials with Wicomico County Public Schools say they had Pinehurst Elementary and Pemberton Elementary, on a code orange. This means safe in place, while instruction continued, but that has since been lifted.
