Salisbury PD Looking For Hotel Robbery Suspect

Police in Salisbury are looking for information, after a suspect reportedly held up a hotel employee at knife-point.

Salisbury Police say on Tuesday, just after 2:00 AM Officers responded to the Residence Inn Marriott, on Centre Road, for reports of a robbery. Hotel employees reportedly told the Officers that a man ran into the hotel, went up to the counter, pulled out a knife, and demanded cash from the register.

Police say the suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash, before fleeing the scene on foot. There were apparently no injuries reported during the incident.

Investigators are now looking for the suspect, who is described as a white male, standing 5′ 9″ tall, aged in his mid-30s, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, black shoes, and a dark colored bandana covering his face.
