Pocomoke Hangs Tough But Falls To CH Flowers

It was a valiant effort, but the Pocomoke Warriors fell to a much bigger team in CH Flowers 64-61, Tuesday night in the Bracket V finale.

Pocomoke held the taller Flowers team to 31% shooting in the first half, despite Flowers having players at 6’7, 6’5, and 6’4 in their lineup, opposed to Pocomoke’s tallest at 6’2. The Warriors, although down, continued to fight, and tied the game in the fourth, before losing the lead for good.

For Pocomoke, four players reached double figures, Dajour Mills (19 points), Tyler Nixon (12 points), Trevon Brown (11 points), and Raymir Smith (10 points).
