Parkdale takes down Delmar
The Governor’s Challenge first day match up between Delmar and Parkdale was a battle, but it was the Panthers took the reins early on and would not let up on the Wildcats.
Parkdale came out ready from the start and began to pull away in the second quarter – it was enough that Delmar could not make a comeback. Parkdale’s Gregg Boydd led his team dropping several three-pointers and finished the night with 25 points. Boydd also entered the three-point contest and came in second place.
Delmar’s Larry Ennis finished the game with 22 points, but it took him a little bit to get warmed up. However, if you have ever seen Ennis play, you know he could not stay quiet for long.
Parkdale kept fighting and secured the win 90-75.
