Multi-agency drug investigation leads to the arrest of three

After the conclusion of a 3 month long investigation, 3 suspects have been arrested by the Milford Police Drugs and Narcotics Division.

Tyrell Waters,  Ashley Ortiz, and Brandon Barnes were all arrested after various agencies executed search warrants into multiple residences and vehicles within the city limits.

During the investigation, detectives recovered over 18 grams of cocaine, 6.5 grams of MDMA ecstasy, and multiple grams of marijuana.

A vehicle was also seized along with $800.

Ortiz and Waters were both charged with Possession with the Intent to Deliver Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana, Conspiracy 2nd Degree, Possession of a Controlled Substance without a Prescription, Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

In addition, Waters was charged with Possession with the Intent to Deliver Ecstasy, Conspiracy 2nd Degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Barnes is being charged with Possession with the Intent to Deliver Ecstasy, Conspiracy 2nd Degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Other agencies involved with the investigation include: Milford Police Criminal Division, Milford Police Special Operations Group, Milford Police K-9 Division, ATF, DSP Governors Task Force Unit, DSP Drug Unit, Georgetown Police, Harrington Police, Oceanview Police, and Blades Police.
