Man arrested in relation to Smyrna robbery

Smyrna Police say they have arrested a man behind an early morning robbery at the Valero Gas Station.

28 year-old Jonathan Gregg was reportedly arrested earlier Sunday morning and released and was wearing the exact clothing shown on video surveillance of today’s robbery.

When investigators were reviewing the video, Gregg was reportedly being arrested again for an unrelated domestic incident.

Police say they interviewed the suspect and he was still wearing the same clothing as shown during the robbery.

Gregg reportedly stole an undisclosed amount of money from the gas station, but no one was injured.

He’s now facing robbery 2nd Degree among other charges.
