Information sought on robbery of Dover delivery driver

Police are investigating after a food delivery driver was reportedly robbed in Camden on Sunday. Delaware State Police say just before 7:00 PM, a 33-year-old woman was delivering food from Luigi’s Pizza located in the Woodside Center Plaza, to a home on Lingo Drive.

According to the report, when the woman pulled into the driveway, she was confronted by four men dressed all in black with masks covering their faces. Police say one of the suspects was armed with a long gun, and demanded money from the driver. The woman reportedly handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, her cell phone, and the food that she was delivering. The suspects then apparently fled towards Headstart Lane.

The victim was not injured during the confrontation, and went back to Luigi’s to report the crime to Authorities.
