Identity theft suspect wanted in Dover

Police are looking to identify a woman suspected in an identity theft case in Kent County.

Delaware State Police say on December 10th, Troopers were contacted by a 35-year-old New York woman, who said that she had received several bills in the mail from businesses in Kent County. According to the report, in each of these cases, department store credit cards had been opened in her name, and were used to buy items totaling thousands of dollars.

Police say they have surveillance footage that shows the the suspect as a woman with a thin build, last seen wearing yoga pants with brown boots, a black jacket, and a red purse, possibly driving a dark colored 4-door sport style sedan vehicle.
