How to stay healthy this winter

Now that the winter season has rolled around, the weather is getting cold which means unfortunately, you may get a cold.
Dr. Victor Gong of the 75th Street Medical Center in Ocean City told 47 ABC that his office has been busy so far this winter.
To help make sure you stay out of the doctor’s office this winter we asked him about some steps you can take to stay healthy.
Here’s what Dr. Gong had to say: “This time of year you want to increase your exercise, that boosts your immune system. Obviously whole fruits and vegetables are good for you but there are certain supplements that are really great like selenium, vitamin C, vitamin D, B, complex vitamins which are really crucial at this time of year.”
Dr. Gong also told us that a lack of sleep and increase stress due to the holidays can also play a factor in coming down with a case of the winter blues.
