Harrington teen charged as adult in murder case

A 17-year-old Harrington teen, arrested for allegedly killed his father with a crossbow on Thursday, is being charged as an adult.
A spokesman for the Delaware Department of Justice says Seth Ramsey will face a preliminary hearing in Family Court, but the case will go to Superior Court. After that, the defense reportedly has the ability to ask for a hearing to transfer the case back to Family Court for prosecution.
Delaware State Police say they found the body of Todd Ramsey, 41, in a bedroom of his Harrington home on Thursday. Police were reportedly contacted by coworkers of Todd, who went to the home to check on him after he did not show up to work for a few days. When they did so, Seth told them he “may have killed his father.”
There is still no word on the official date of that preliminary hearing.
