Five Arrested On Manufacturing Meth Charges In Long Neck

Five people have been arrested, after Police say they were involved in manufacturing methamphetamine.

Delaware State Police say on Thursday afternoon, around 4:50 PM, the Sussex County Drug Task Force with the assistance of the Delaware State Police Special Operations Response Team, DNREC, and Indian River Fire Department responded to a home on Kings Lane, in the Enchanted Acres development. Law enforcement was executing a search warrant on the home, in a several month long investigation into the making of meth at the home.

Once on scene, Police say they arrested 28-year-old Anthony Dipentima, 56-year-old Bonnie Dipentima, 28-year-old Ashlyn Lippy, 25-year-old Savahhan Shelton, and 28-year-old Robert Andell, all of Millsboro. During a search of the property, Detectives say they found equipment and component mixtures of the manufacturing stages of meth along with key ingredients in making the drug.

All five of those arrested, were charged with operation of a clandestine lab, possession with intent to deliver meth, conspiracy 2nd degree, and possession of drug paraphernalia. They are all being held by the Department of Corrections on $27,500 cash bail.

During the investigation, authorities say no other homes were evacuated, as they found that there was no immediate hazard or threat.
