Delegate Norman Conway Receives President’s Award

SU’s president Dr. Janet Dudley-Eshbach presented long-serving delegate Norman Conway with the inaugural SU President’s Medal; in recognition of his service to citizens in Maryland and support of education.

The award honors individuals for their contributions and dedication to SU’s “mission, vision, and success.”

Delegate Conway graduated from Salisbury University in 1965.

Dr. Dudley-Eshbach says,  “I’m going to say he’s clearly one of the most influential men in our state. He chaired the house of appropriations committee, and he never forgot the eastern shore. He never forgot his alma mater, so we’re just proud of everything he’s done.”
