Del officials wrap up state parks fee increase decision

Delaware officials may soon have their answer as whether they will increase state park fees or not, as they wrap up public discussion Tuesday.
Earlier this year government officials gave the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control permission to potentially increase state park fees, after they consider public opinion and get approval by the advisory councils.
Officials have already held public comment sessions in Sussex and New Castle counties, and the final session is scheduled for Tuesday at Killens Pond in Kent County.
State park officials hope an increase in fees will help cover the costs of activities and services.
