DE Sen. Coons Visiting Liberia To Observe Ebola Fight

Delaware Senator Chris Coons will be visiting US soldiers fighting the Ebola outbreak overseas.

According to spokesman Brian Cunningham, Coons was expected to leave at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday evening.

He will be visiting Liberia to thank US forces working in the region, but we’re told he will not be in danger of contracting the virus. The facilities he plans to visit have just been built and have not treated any patients yet.

He is scheduled to return next Monday.
