DE farmers see significant growth in sales

Delaware farms are keeping up the trend of growing crops, while growing profits.

Reports say that Farmers Market sales have doubled to a total of $2.6 million, according to the Delaware Department of Agriculture.

With the increase, it marks the 7th straight year Delaware Farmers Markets have seen an increase in sales.

This increase is reportedly due to a significant spike in the interest of local food and farm fresh products.
