Colonel Richards falls to Benjamin Franklin

Colonel Richardson and Benjamin Franklin square off Monday morning in Day 3 of the Governor’s Challenge.

Both teams had a slow start in the first half and it was apparent in the score. In the first half, both teams were missing shots 10-38 when added together , a combined 17 turnovers, 31 total rebounds and only 5 of those were offensive rebounds.

Colonel Richardson led the first quarter 11-9, only scored three points in the second quarter, but managed to go into halftime down by 4, the score was 18-14.

In the second half, Colonel Richardson scored 30 points, but it was not enough to top over Benjamin Franklin. The game closed out with a win by Benjamin Franklin 57-44.
