Brewery team donates $29,500 in tip money

Co-workers at the Dogfish Head’s Tasting Room in Milton teamed up to help local non-profit organizations this year. The employees donated all of their bar tips for the year to various non-profits, picking a new charity each month. By the end of the year, their donations totaled $29,500. Dogfish officials say the tour team is planning to continue these donations in 2015.

The beneficiaries include: MERR, Milton Historical Society, Big Brothers Big Sisters of DE, VSA Delaware, Milton Garden Club, Milton Farmers Market, Friends of Cape Henlopen State Park, Milton Lions Club, Milton Theater, Friends of Prime Hook Wildlife Preserve, Toys for Tots and Meals on Wheels.
