Aberdeen Shuts Down Decatur In Second Half, Rolls To Huge Win
The Aberdeen Eagles came out swinging in the Governors Challenge, knocking out Stephen Decatur 74-36 Friday afternoon.
After leading 38-25 at the half, Aberdeen held Decatur to just four points in the third quarter, and seven in the fourth on their way to a 38 point victory.
Jaleel Gibson scored 27 points in just 12 minutes for Aberdeen, while Jamal Hill added 10 points and 7 boards. Decatur was paced by Darion McKenzie’s 8 points.
