West African Doctor With Ebola Coming To The U.S.
OMAHA, Ne. – Government officials have reported a surgeon working in Sierra Leone has been diagnosed with Ebola and will be flown to the United States on Saturday for treatment.
The doctor has been identified as Martin Salia, a citizen of Sierra Leone but also a permanent U.S. Resident.
Reports say Salia will be treated at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
This will be the third Ebola patient at the Omaha hospital and the tenth Ebola patient in the U.S. The last Ebola patient in the U.S. was released from a New York City hospital on Tuesday.
