UPDATE: Information Sought On Salisbury Shooting

SALISBURY, Md. – Police are looking for information after a reported early morning shooting at a Salisbury apartment complex. Salisbury Police say Officers responded to the Emory Court Parkside Apartments, where 26-year-old Danny Johnson Jr., of Delmar, had been shot in the parking lot near the apartment complex pool.

Johnson had apparently been shot in the upper section of his torso. He was rushed to Peninsula Regional Medical Center, where he is undergoing treatment, and is expected to make a full recovery.

Police say witness reports indicate that unidentified suspects fled the area in a passenger vehicle, believed to be silver or blue in color, after the assault.

“The description is vague, and the detectives are working at this time to get a better description of this vehicle as well. We're currently executing search warrants as a result for this investigation, as well.” Says Captain Rich Kaiser.

According to the report, Johnson had been at Brew River before the assault, and Detectives are currently sorting through that surveillance video.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident, or who may have seen the victim at Brew River before, are asked to contact the Criminal Investigation Division of the Salisbury Police Department at 410-548-3165 or Crime Solvers at 410-548-1776. Crime Solvers is offering an up to $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
