Salesianum Edges Out CR In Final Minutes

Smyrna, DE- The Caesar Rodney soccer team saw their season come to an end when they lost to Salesianum 2-1 at Smyrna High School.

CR got on the board just 1 minute and 30 seconds in the game, when Adrian Coverdale got a head on a free kick. The goal would stun the Sals, but they would respond in the second half. Kevin Williams would tie the game up with 25 minutes to go. Freshman Gavin Ford would get the game winner to go with less than 2:30 to go.

CR finishes the season at 15-2.
