Participants Sought for 2015 Redistricting Task Force

WICOMICO CO., Md. – The Wicomico County School District is now looking for folks to serve on a committee called the Redistricting Task Force.

We're told changes in the school district such as the opening of the new Bennett Middle School means it's time to take a look at school attendance and make recommendations to the Board of Education, if and where redistricting needs to happen.

The task force will include parents and guardians, along with community members, throughout the county as well as staff members. People who served on the Redistricting Task Force in 2009 through 2010 are invited to return and new members are welcome.
