Parkside Rams end their 2014 season with a 60-14 win against Washington
SALISBURY, MD — Two football seasons came to an end on a damp Thursday night. Only one team finished with a win. The Parkside Rams defeated the Washington Jaguars 60-14.
The night started off with fumbles from both teams. But it was Parkside who would get on the board first after their quarterback, Devin Redding, makes it into the endzone after a 19-yard run.
A few possessions later, the Jaguars were forced to punt and Rams' Juwan Williams received and returned it for a 60-yard touchdown. Just like that, Parkside was up 14-0.
Jaguars still had plenty of fight left in them, Jamarkus Brumskin finally gets them on the board on the read option for a 13-yard touchdown. Washington would score once more in the first half and were shutout for the second half.
Parkside finishes their season 5-5, while Washington also seals their 2014 season 4-6.
