Mardela Girls Soccer Cinderella Story Continues, On To States

Salisbury, MD – The Mardela girls soccer team incredible post season run continued Tuesday after they pulled out another thrilling win, taking down Bohemia Manor 2-0. The Warriors advance to now face Sparrows Point on Saturday.

The teams would battle to a stand still in the first half. The Kasey Goshorn would lead the charge offensively, providing several great through balls, but the Eagles back line of defense would continually come up with great plays to turn them away. While the first half started slow for the Warriors, the second half was anything but. Goshorn would give her team the lead after she found the back of the net from 35 yards out. Mardela would then double their lead after Kathleen Sann was able to put one home. Megan Roy and the rest of the defense would do the rest, as the Warriors are marching on.
