Indian River’s Maggie Allison Headed To Towson

Dagsboro, DE – Indian River lacrosse. Maggie Allison made it official Thursday morning by formally signing her letter of intent to play her college ball at the Towson University.

Allison's road to the Tigers wasn't an easy one. For starters, Indian River still doesn't not have a girls lacrosse team. Because of this, Allison commuted to Sussex Tech for the first two years of high school to play for the Ravens. She found a lot of success there, eventually being named the Rookie of the Year in 2012. The following season she continued to excel on the field and was named the Best All Around Player.

But Maggie found her real success from playing for the Sea Bay club lacrosse team for Coach Van Kirk and Coach Yesko. She credited her time there to being the driving force to her development as a player and helping her get to the position she is in today.
