Indian River Boys Soccer Falls Short To Caravel

Dover, DE- The Indian River High School boys soccer team went down swinging, losing to top-seeded Caravel Academy 2-1 in the Division II state semifinal.

The Indians went down 1-0 before halftime, when Caravel scored early in the second half to extend their lead. IR played scrappy and tough all night, and was eventually able to get a goal in the second half from Daniel Garza, but it would prove to be too late, with Caravel holding on for a one goal victory.

The Indians finished the season at 9-5-1.
