DSU Men’s Basketball Shock Wake Forest, Collect First ACC Win

Winston-Salem, N.C.  - The Delaware State men's basketball team picked up a historic win Friday night when they defeated Wake Forest 72-65 for the programs first ever win against an ACC opponent. The Hornets won the game 72-65. 

Amere May scored a career high 32 points in the win, connecting on 10/20 shots including a career high six threes. Kendall Gray also had a great day for DSU. The Polytech graduate finished with a career high 16 rebounds to go along with his career high 8 blocks and 14 points. 

The Hornets will head to the Aloha State for their next contest on Tues. (Dec. 2) against the Hawai'i Rainbow Warriors. Game time is 7 p.m. in Hawai'i; 1 a.m. ET (Dec. 3) in Delaware.
