Bennett Volleyball Season Ends With Huntington Loss

Salisbury, MD – The James M. Bennett volleyball team watched their season come to an end Wednesday afternoon with a 3-0 loss to Huntington. The Clippers finish the season posting a 15-3 record.

The Hurricanes would jump out in the first set to a big lead by some strong performances from their outside hitters. Several of Huntington's hitters found a groove, and were connecting on shots down the line, as well as spreading it out with some cross court attacks. The Clippers would end up dropping the set and look to find the answer in the second. Trailing early, the would start a small run lead by some strong play at the net of their own by Rachel Leister and Courtney McKenzie. The run wasn't enough though as the Hurricanes would close the set strong and close it out. The third set was much of the same as Huntington made their living at the net all night long, and the Clippers were never able to find the answer.
