SU Volleyball Roll Wesley

Salisbury, MD – The Salisbury University volleyball rolled to a 3-0 win over Wesley Wednesday afternoon. The win improves the Sea Gulls to (19-9 4-4) on the season while the loss drops the wolverines to (11-14, 1-7 CAC).

The Gulls would jump out to a quick lead in Set 1 thanks to strong serving from Shannon Russell and Nikki Binetti. Once SU was able to get the Wolverines out of system, they did a great job on the ensuing possession to set up their outside hitters who delivered all night. The Wolverines would try to hang around, and got strong play from Tionne Graves-Brown. The Sea Gulls continued to push and after taking the opening two sets, coasted in the 3rd set to the win. 

Wesley returns to action Saturday when they host Saint Mary's, while SU will return to the court Saturday when they travel to play Frostburg State.
