Rams Football Run Over Rival WiHi

Salisbury, MD – The Parkside football team made a statement Friday night when they blew out cross town rival WiHi. The win improves the Rams to 3-5 while the loss drops the Indians to 4-4.

The Rams went straight to work on their opening drive, going 68 yards on 12 plays and capping it off with a Dajour Diggs touchdown run. After a Indians would then struggle to maintain the ball, fumbling twice in their first few possessions. The Rams would push their lead to 21-0 after Devin Redding would find Malcolm Downing from 14 yards out. Parkside would take that lead into the halftime, as the Indians came out firing in the second half. Jordan Brittingham would take one in from 37 yards out, and after the missed point after it would make it 21-6. Redding would then find Downing again for a score to push it back to a 3 score game. WiHi would make a small run, but it was never enough to get back into the game.

The Indians return to action next Friday when they travel to play North Caroline, where as the Rams return to action next Thursday when they host Stephen Decatur.
