Parsonsburg woman accused in umbrella assault

A Parsonsburg woman is behind bars, after she reported assaulted a man with an umbrella.

The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office says on Wednesday, 26-year-old Amy Lynn Daniels was arrested in connection to an assault that reportedly happened on Old Ocean City Road in Parsonsburg.

According to the report, a man told Deputies that Daniel assaulted him with an umbrella, and tried to push him down a staircase. Police also accuse Daniels of throwing a glass candle and a glass bottle at the victim.

After her arrest, Daniels was charged with assault 2nd degree, and reckless endangerment, and is now being held at Detention Center in lieu of $15,000 bond.
