Kent Island Stingy On D, Shut Down Easton

Easton, MD- The Kent Island Buccaneers avenged last week's loss to Maryland powerhouse Fort Hill, putting the clamps on the Easton Warriors 21-3.

Kent Island completely shut down the Warriors strong offense, which had been averaging 39.2 points per game this season. Easton was held to 118 yards of total offense in the first half and 3 points, while the Bucs held a 9-3 lead at the break. The second half would prove to be much of the same. Kent Island would go up 15-3 after their first possession of the second half. The Buccaneers would then cap off the third quarter with a 54 yard drive to score their final touchdown.

Zach Goodrich finished with 3 touchdowns in the game for the Buccaneers as they moved to 7-1. Easton falls to 6-2 with a tough road matchup looming next Friday in Centreville against the Queen Anne's Lions.
