Crisfield Boys Soccer Hold Off North Dorchester On Senior Day

Crisfield, MD – The Crisfield boys soccer team celebrated their senior day with a win after defeated North Dorchester 2-1 in overtime Monday afternoon. The win improves the Crabbers to 6-6, while the loss drops the Eagles to 3-8-1.

The Crabbers would jump out to a quick lead after Jordan Sterling would fire a shot from the left side of the box to the far post and just outside the reach of the keeper. Minutes later, Crisfield would double their lead after a cross into the box would wind up with Johnny Taylor who would head it home. But the Eagles didn't back down. They would trim the lead in half just before the half when Ben Flaggs would find himself all alone with the ball in front of the net after the keeper came out of the box, and would tap it home. North Dorchester would then tie up the game on a breakaway and they would head to extras. There Crisfield would come up with the heroics, scoring the game winning goal.

Both teams now prepare for postseason play.
