Bennett Girls Soccer Season Comes To An End

Salisbury, MD – The James M. Bennett girls soccer team's season came to an end Friday when they fell to Northeast 1-0 in a shootout.

Both teams played some outstanding defense throughout the game with the Clippers having their chance to score. In the first half Bennett would have three straight corners kicks that either went completely through the box, or the shot would be blocked just in front of the goal. The second half was no different, as again the Clippers would have their chances, but incredible individual plays from the Eagles back row and keeper would keep them scoreless. They would head to overtime, and eventually double overtime and still remain scoreless. The teams would then go to a shootout where the Eagles would take home the win.
