Bennett Field Hockey Shut Out Northeast

Salisbury, MD – The James M. Bennett field hockey took down Northeast 2-0 on Thursday afternoon. The win advances the Clippers to the regional semi-finals against the winner of Chesapeake and Annapolis.

The Clippers jumped out to a quick lead after Kristen Yingling was able to sneak one pass the keeper. The lead would hold throughout the first half and Bennett would start the second half with a 1-0 lead. There the Clippers would continue to attack and should've saw their lead stretch to several if not for a number of incredible saves from the Eagles keeper. With time winding down in the match, the Clippers would finally score their insurance goal after Kayla Wells would score.
