Women’s Soccer Blanked At Home

Salisbury, MD.- The Salisbury University women's soccer team put forth a great effort against No. 3 Messiah, but could not hold on, as the Falcons won 3-0.

Despite a strong defensive effort for SU, The Falcons (5-0) broke through with a goal at the 36:46 mark to take a 1-0 lead into the half. Salisbury goalkeeper Michelle Conrad made some amazing saves, but in the second half, The Falcons offense wore down the Sea Gull defense. Marisa Weaver and Nikki Elsaesser would push two goals in for Messiah within the first twenty minutes of the second half, pushing the lead to 3-0.

The Sea Gulls will be back in action on Tuesday, September 16th, when they travel to Virginia Wesleyan College at 7 p.m.
